yeah, everyone asks why I used so much tape…We don’t have an exit in the basement and I didn’t want to risk losing it upstairs. We might not have been able to catch it again. Plus it might have scared our fat cats. lol.

Two ‘peas in a pod’!! A few years ago, I too ‘rescued’ a mouse. It had found it’s way into our sunroom on Shadow Lake Trail and I happened to see my kitty ‘playing’ with it, batting it across the floor having a merry ole time!! After removing Mitzy (my kitty) from the sunroom, I got a paper cup and chased the little guy around the room until I could finally corner him and then scooped him into the cup and took him to the woods and released him. I choose to believe he since has lead a very long and happy life!!

From Kate: “I want to watch it everyday. Why was it a mouse?”

When I read Uncle Mikey’s story to Kate (almost 3) she obviously didn’t remember the title and said, “What is it?”
Carolyn: “Can you guess?”
Kate: “Does it have a dinosaur tail?”
Carolyn: “Nope, not a dinosaur tail. A long, skinny tail.”
Kate: “Is it an octopus?”
Carolyn: “Nope, not an octopus.”
After watching the video …
Kate: “Is it a frog?”
Carolyn: “Not a frog. Do you want me to tell you?”
Kate: “Yes.”
Carolyn: “It’s a mouse!”
Kate: “A mouse? Why is it a mouse?”
Carolyn: “Because it found its way into the house.”
Kate: “Why?”

Oh Michael,
The escapades you all get into. …. I have laughed myself silly, especially when relaying all this to Carolyn last night.Have you looked to see if he or any friends are back yet? A word to the wise, if you have any food in your office, get rid of it.
