What fun is the Hoh rain forest without any rain :) I loved it while I was there (it was perfect) but it sucked 'cause I couldn't stay longer and I had put off the places I really wanted to go until the second day which didn't end up happening :( Great pics though! Sorry you had a sucky time. I think late summer time is the best time to go. You may not be the only one on the beach but it won't be crowded like you may think. There was hardly anyone there when Doug and I went a few years ago. There's a lot of neat places out that way. There's the Ho Rain Forest, which I have to admit I haven't been to yet and there's <a href="http://agape1.net/oilcity.htm" rel="nofollow">Oil City</a> and <a href="http://agape1.net/lapush.htm" rel="nofollow">La Push</a>...
