The Miserable Summer Was Worth It

It's been raining non stop for almost 4 days now and I love it. It doesn't get any better than this. The rain is similar to that seen during the movie The Ring (filmed in Seattle) and according to King5 news, expected to be the most in over a century for this region. Cool!

4 days! dang, I couldn’t do it. But that is why I moved from Seattle to VIVA!!! Las Vegas, it has not rained here in 4 weeks and when it did, it was only for a minute. Take it easy, glad you can appriciate the rain.

Ok Michael, I know you like the rain, but the summer was “miserable”? That’s a little extreme doncha
think? Sure it got “hot” a few days (not really of course) but I thought it was pretty gorgeous out most of the time….

Lol, it was miserable for me, especially towards the end. Not so much the heat but the endless sunny days. I just longed for something different than bright sunshine and brown grass. I like the green and the contrast of the green against gray skies. I know. I’m weird…

Now I’m glad I took most of this week off. Enjoyed my short vacation in Vegas. Considered extending it a bit after hearing about all the flooding on the news. It took me nearly 2 hours to get from Bothell to my house in Sultan this evening. Traffic was horrendous. I think 203 is closed in some places so everyone was taking 522.

Welcome back, you picked the good part of the week to be in Vegas, though it’ll be colder today on out. I feel bad now about liking all this rain :(
