Screwed.
Written by Michael on October 29th, 2006For Tony and Carolyn’s annual Pandemonium Party Halloween 2006 Party, I’d wanted to play the Antisocial Asshole Boyfriend but was “screwed” (normally a good thing but not a topic for this blog) by the boss and forced to to go anyway.
I seriously dread Halloween. I had a disasterous halloween party in 1999 (again a topic not for this blog but if you ask me in person, I’ll likely tell you a very funny story) and have never enjoyed picking out a costume since. Amy took me to this store in Redmond and We picked out a makeup kit that put a screw in my head. She did a FANTASTIC job in putting it on and I was floored (maybe I might actually enjoy this party…). I put on some normal clothes on purpose to enhance the effect (only one person got it) and it did pretty well. The insane number of kids noticed it and the whole thing was a lot of fun. My virtual niece Kate was dressed up as a goldfish or guppy and she was (unbiased) by the far, the cutest kid there, hands down.
Note to self: When attending a party with a ton of Microsoft managers, make the sacrifice and take the DSLR you prize so much and not your cheap ass hiking camera!

How adorable - Kate (not you), also cute fishy costume!! Actually, your ’screw job’ looks GREAT too, way to go Amy! I’ve never been a big fan of Halloween costume parties either, however, I adore ‘trick or treat’ night with the grandbabies, it will be on Tuesday evening and I’m looking forward to it, Sydney is going to be Snow White and Logan has an adorable Frog costume, hope the weather hold out for no rain!

Awesome makeup job. I noticed on one of your pics you had a sign taped to your chest but I couldn’t read what it said cuz it only showed the very top of it. What was it?
