Snow Patrol Concert

snow_patrol_ticket_sm.jpg

Yep, goin' to the sold out Snow Patrol show on Wednesday night at the Moore Theatre in downtown Seattle. A friend at work was able to score some last minute tix and I'm pretty excited. I've been listening to the group since before their album Final Straw was released in the U.S in 2004 and been loving them ever since. I highly recommend picking up either one of their albums as there is not a bad song on them.

Here is a music video from their second release Open Eyes called Chasing Cars.

  1. Man I love that song. I think it’s my favorite song right now. I can listen to it over and over and over again. I hadn’t seen the video so thanks for sharing. Enjoy the Snow Patrol concert. I’ve seen them a few times already. My favorite was at the Showbox in 2004. Now that was an awesome show. The shows I’ve seen them play just don’t compare because now they play in fairly larger venues.

  2. Yeah, Chasing Cars is constantly playing in my car, at work and at home though “Run” is still by favorite Snow Patrol song by far. WIth my luck, they won’t perform it tomorrow! That had to be great to see them in ’04 when they still had a lot to prove…

  3. I wondered who the group was that sang that song on the “Grays Anatomy” ‘s commerical. Now I know. I have never heard of them before. What a great sound. Let me know how the concert went. Are they located in the Seattle area?

    Love Ma

  4. No, Snow Patrol (mostly) is from Scotland. They were pretty popular in the U.K. until Final Straw was released in the U.S. in the spring fo 2004. You should check them out on I-Tunes. Check out the album Final Straw and the songs Run, How To Be Dead, Spitting Games and Chocolate. As stated above, Run is my all time favorite.
