That's a cute story about Michael. :) I have an indoor cat that I let out on the deck or back porch only with my supervision on rare occasions. Well one time while BBQ'ing or something I must not have noticed her get out. Not sure how long she as out there but it must have been a while. I ended up hearing her crying outside and found her at the back door. she must have jumped down from the deck which is a rather high jump. Good thing there's nothing for her to get stuck in or under at my house. I'm always afraid about neighbor cats and/or racoon fights, so I don't let her out very often.

When I was reading your post I was relieved he didn't get outside after hearing those stories of him getting into trouble outside. He sounds like a little trouble maker. btw you need to post some updated pics of the kids all I saw was baby pics. They are cute pics though.

Mom, I am sure glad that you did not have that problem with both of your kids:>) For me the school just did not bother even calling, I skipped so much!! :>)

Heh, that's a funny story that I'll never forget. I distinctly remember the assignment (week 7 Spelling and Vocabulary) and watching you drive up Bethel Rd. before I turned around and walked back home. It was actually a pretty good plan (discussing your departure time, making sure the door was unlocked and making sure I'd have the maximum amount of time before the office would be alerted of my absence) but I failed to think ahead. It was only that day.

Anyway, sorry about that :)

That's the pros and cons of being a parent. A parent learns to cope with the problems that arise. Of course, THAT story reminded me of the time when we first moved to Centerville. One morning I remember going to work after sending you off to Tower Heights (Centerville's Junior High) and then getting a call from the school stating you never showed up. Talk about high BP levels and heart racing! All I could think of was that some maniac or sex pervert had snatched my baby boy. I'm surprised I'm not six feet in the ground!

Well, I rushed home and after calling your name for 15 or more minutes, I called your father home from work and I was about to call the police when I found you huddled in our closet! After much coaxing, I was able to get you out of the closet and I found out that you were afraid to go to school because you had not finished your homework.

Well, I guess it's payback time! :) KIDS NEVER UNDERSTAND WHAT THEY PUT THEIR PARENTS THROUGH!!

Love,
Your dear old mom whose age has finally caught up with her old racing heart:).
