Yeah, perhaps we are too nice (maybe being fair is also being too nice?) but one thing I hate is making excuses for losing or screwing up. Yesterday, Seattle talk radio was ablaze with talk show hosts calling for our fans to organize a class action lawsuit against the NFL and the Pittsburgh Steelers. That's absolutely ridiculous if you ask me. Even if they did conspire, the Seahawks could have played better to make the "conspiracy" more obvious. We had plenty of opportunities to score more points than Pittsburgh but we didn't so we lost.

One thing that did surprise me though was the report from Komo 4 TV's Dan Lewis that the vendors in the Stadium was only selling Steeler merchandise (oddly, I couldn't find the link). The official word from the NFL was that it was a supply and demand issue because less than 10% in attendance were Seahwaks fans.

Too bad there won't be a "next year." Go Mariners!

It's funny, but in talking with friends from around the country, the Seahawks fans are the most critical of the Seahawks! The anti-Steelers fans are talking about how unfair the reffing was. The Seahawks fans, me and you included, seem to be saying, aside from all of the bad reffing, the Seahawks blew the game with valid penalties and the missed field goals. During the playoffs, there was an article in the Washington Post about how nice Seattle fans. Fair, too, apparently!
