25 Days of Rain

I know it's Seattle and this blog's name is Rain City Story, but 25 days of heavy rain is beginning to be a bit much. Lake Sammamish is at it's highest level in recorded history and we're already 5.7 inches of rainfall ahead of normal. In any event, it's better than a stalled high pressure system and rain always seems to put me a good mood.
The record for consecutive days of rain at Sea-Tac International Airport is 33 set back in 1953. Word on the street is that we'll beat that record this year.
