Where Have I Been?
I'd like to know the answer to that question too. I've definitely had tons of inspiration for posts at RCS but I've been working on something at work that is more important and complex than anything else I've ever been responisble for. Success is required for business continuity (not product related). Gee, no pressure. I've got a good team and those who know me know that I'm the master at dealing with petulant execs so I'm not worried about the completion date of 8/13. Something bad will come up when we're out of time, but somehow I'll figure it out and/or get lucky like I always do. It's going to be a rough road, but we'll all be stronger after it.
I've been so focused on it that I haven't even been watching the tour (gasp!). I know I will never forgive myself for allowing something to come between myself and the World's greatest event but I cannot help it right now.
As for my birthday, went on a short ride, mowed the lawn and worked on my project plan, thanks for asking.
I'll be back soon and thanks for reading.

Glad you enjoyed your birthday, even if it did not consist of anything ‘earth shattering’ – maybe that is a good thing then – no earthquakes!! Good to hear you are involvd in a challenging project at work – you of all people need to stay ‘challenged’ to be happy and productive, I have utmost faith in you that you will make your 8/13 deadline!!
Well, only a few more hours for your nephew to be born on your birthday, however, I think ‘Baby Dravey’ wants his own special day that he will not have to share with other family members since he skipped aunt Terry’s and Amy’s BDay too – which of course was yesterday!! At Nicki’s appointment today, her doctor scheduled her to be induced Wednesday morning if she does not deliver before then – we are all so excited, his arrival now seems so tangible!!
Michele and I are going to open casting for the Amazing Race on Saturday morning for an interview, they are only taking the fist 200 people in line so wish us good luck!!! We have no doubt that we will be a ‘kickass’ team – the first Mother and Daughter Team on the show too!!
Again, Happy Birthday!! I’ll keep you posted on the baby etc. Love ya Nance
