The Picture
Since I re-launched raincitystory.com using the new WordPress content management system, I've received 13 e-mails from people asking me if I took the photo used in my logo and if so, can they have a copy. I even received an e-mail from an advertising company in North Carolina asking if they could license it. As I told the Swiss company wanting to license my Seattle Public Library photos, they can license it for free as long as they give me credit somewhere in their materials.
Anyway, the answer is yes, I took it (11/17/2004) and even have the 23 MB .raw files (Sony format) if someone wants the uncompressed originals.

I thought the picture was taken from Kerry Park!! I felt the view was familar and remembered it from when you took Jay and me up to Kerry Park last summer. I can see why you have had many comments/compliments and requests to use it – Great Work Michael!!

Thanks Nance. I didn’t think it was anything special which is why I had never posted it in my galleries. I have over 30 gigabytes worth of pictures from NYC, LA, San Diego, Denver, Washington D.C. and Seattle that I think suck but some might like. Did you see the picture of you and Dad at the Kerry Park viewpoint?
